ORIGINALS

Most of Ed Hurley’s original paintings are sold in charity auctions and/or in a manner to raise funds to benefit cancer research, treatment and education. A limited number are available for purchase by individuals, with 35% of the funds from such sales going to Ed’s favorite charities – Jan's Place at Mt. Carmel St. Anns Hospital in Westerville, Ohio and other cancer support agencies. GICLEE PRINTS

Giclee (pronounced zhee-CLAY) printing creates an individually beautiful high resolution reproduction of an original art piece. Giclee is French for fine spray - spraying millions of droplets onto the canvas substrate utilizing thermal jets. This is digital technology from start to finish, providing a precise quality reproduction. Giclee printers have some of the widest color gamut available to transfer the image quality to the canvas.

We have created beautiful works of art utilizing water based inks, and each therefore should be handled with the same extreme care that you would give an original watercolor. To further enhance the beauty of each piece of art we have applied a protective coating. The inks and coating are highly UV resistant; however, no print should ever be exposed to direct sunlight.
